Since the temperature has been climbing upward down here in the south, I am constantly on the lookout for frozen treats. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough sandwiches feature cookie dough flavored light ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough pieces sandwiched between chocolate chip cookies.
Breyers was nice enough to send me over a coupon to try my choice of their new treats. I chose to try the Triple Chocolate Chip bars, with some help from Wyatt. I am always up for ice cream, so I was pretty excited about having an excuse to treat myself. I opened up the package and my first thought was that the bar was a little small, but then I tasted it and that thought flew out the window. This bar was decadent, and full of yummy chocolate taste! I was completely full after this treat and didn’t even feel tempted to get a second bar. It didn’t take my hubby long to find these in our freezer, since I went out of town for 1 night and half the box is gone!LOL I guess he likes them, too.
These new Smooth & Dreamy treats will definitely be added to my frozen treat rotation, since they are reasonable in calories and fat, while holding on to a delicious taste! I can’t wait to try the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough sandwiches next.
