If you have been following my site, you know by now that my family loves comic book story lines. Being outnumbered 3 to 1, I have learned to make the best of it, and join in the fun. One of the boys’ favorite animated series is Iron Man Armored Adventures, which is set in Tony Starks teenage years. Much to their excitement, Iron Man: Armored Adventures – Season 2, Vol 4
Here is the theme form Iron Man: Armored Adventures Season 2, Volume 4: This DVD follows Tony Stark as he battles against his toughest opponents yet in order to retain control of his father’s company, Stark International, and protect the designs of his Iron Man armor! The Season 2, Volume 4 DVD includes the most intense action yet as Iron Man finally saves his father from his long imprisonment by the nefarious Doctor Doom. Life, however, is not back to normal just yet as our hero still has to find a way to wrest control of his father’s company from the villainous Justin Hammer. Later when the Mandarin gains all ten rings of power circumstances demand the emergence of a new hero, and with Ton Stark’s help Pepper Potts becomes the hero Rescue! But when the Makluans attack, Iron Man is forced to call on all his allies; Nick Fury, Hawkeye, Black Panther, The Hulk and Black Widow to help fend off the alien invasion and save the human race from destruction. Nothing has prepared Tony and his friends for the struggle that is about to take place.

Gaiam Vivendi Entertainment was nice enough to send my family over a copy of this DVD to review. The boys were excited to see Iron Man back in action, especially when the Avengers show up! It was nice to see Pepper finally get to join in on the action and finding Tony’s father still alive was a crazy twist to the show. Overall, the boys can’t get enough of this series!
Iron Man: Armored Adventures – Season 2, Vol 4 has a running time of 88 minutes and includes the special features: Original Artwork Gallery: Iron Monger, Makluan Aliens, Black Widow, Hawkeye, and Vehicles. This DVD retails for $14.93 and can be pre-ordered now from amazon.com
