The second lines are in full swing in New Orleans, as Disney announced yesterday, that starting in early 2020 the Disney Wonder will set sail from the Port of Orleans!! Now, I know that seems a long way off, but booking starts next week and these cruises will fill up fast (especially since the first dates coincide with Mardi Gras).

Disney Cruise Line to Sail from New Orleans in 2020:
In 2020, the Disney Wonder will embark on a variety of Caribbean and Bahamian cruises from New Orleans – the first time Disney Cruise Line will have a home port in Louisiana. The limited- time season includes four-, six- and seven-night Western Caribbean sailings; a seven-night Bahamian cruise; and a 14-night Panama Canal voyage, departing Feb. 7 through March 6. Below is a list of sailing dates and itineraries.

Booking Details:
Although the dates were announced today, general booking will not open until Thursday October 4th. However, there will be a tiered booking period beginning Monday October 1st.
- Monday October 1st –Platinum Castaway Club members & Disney’s Golden Oaks residents
- Tuesday October 2nd – Gold Castaway Club members
- Wednesday October 3rd – Silver Castaway Club members & DVC members who have not previously sailed with DCL
- Thursday October 4th, first time cruisers will be able to book.
