One of our favorite activities at my house is playing board games. From classic games like Life and Trivial Pursuit to the Star Wars version of Trivial Pursuit, we play them all. My husband and I love to challenge each other, which is probably where Wyatt is developing his competative side. To keep the board game excitement alive, Hasbro has introduced a new line of customizable U-Build Games.
Here is some information about the U-Build Games from their site: Get ready to experience Hasbro games like never before. With the new line of U-BUILD games, you build the game and then play how you want. U-BUILD games allow kids to customize some of their favorite games, creating a unique experience each time they are played. Based on popular Hasbro games, including BATTLESHIP, CONNECT 4, MOUSE TRAP and SORRY!, players control the action during the game by moving brick-based pieces to different locations around the game board. Kids will have hours of fun constructing, knocking down and rebuilding these ever-changing games.
Hasbro was nice enough to send me over U-Build Monopoly for review. Wyatt really wanted to play, but I quickly realized after setting up and getting through the instructions, that this game was going to be over his head. This game is targeted for ages 8 and up, and kids would have to be at least 8 to play. Setting up the game board was easy, but the instructions to some time to understand. After a while, hubby and I started to understand the concept and enjoyed this new version. I totally kicked his but, which was fun!LOL Here is a picture of our board as we were setting up the game.
