Review: SHOUT Encourages Kids to Go Play

Since the weather has cooled off down here in the south, we have been spending more time outside, which means more mud and grass stains on the clothes.  But, being the mom of two very active boys, means that I am no stranger to stains and I spend a LOT of time in my laundry room!  From checking their clothes for stains and treating them, to making sure that uniforms are washed and dried, the laundry never ends.  Thanks to Shout’s extensive line of stain removal products, I am able to get a lot more use out of my boys’ clothes and even pass some down to the little one.

Some of my favorite SHOUT products include:

SHOUT Advanced Ultra Gel– Combines powerful Shout stain fighters in a thick gel formula with a convenient stain-lifting brush to penetrate and remove your toughest stains. Rubbing Shout stain fighters directly into a stain while pre-treating is the best way to remove a stain. The convenient stain-lifting brush makes this job easy!

SHOUT Trigger Laundry Stain Remover– Shout Trigger is formulated with powerful stain-fighting ingredients and enzymes to quickly penetrate, break up, and remove tough stains. Don’t let spills and stains ruin your day-Shout has you covered!

SHOUT Color Catcher– Nobody wants dyes bleeding onto other items of clothing in the laundry. Shout Color Catcher sheets absorb and trap loose dyes in your wash water, safeguarding your clothes from color bleeds and helping to preserve original colors. Use Shout Color Catcher sheets in every load to keep clothes looking vibrant and bright!

My favorite product so far has been the Color Catchers, since I just bought the boys some new fall clothes.  I didn’t have to make extra loads for the new items, but just threw them in with the rest of the laundry and one of these awesome sheets.  They work really well and I had no color mishaps.  I have long been a fan of the gel and love the scrubber that is at the top of the bottle, which really helps to scrub out tough stains.  The spray is great for a quick use product on not so deep stains.

Since SHOUT knows that they can handle any stain that you challenge them with, they have launched a new campaign just in time for this fall weather called “Go Play”!  This campaign encourages kids to head outside, get dirty, and have fun!  To learn more about this initiative visit SHOUT on Facebook.

Here is a message from SHOUT about the “Go Play” Campaign:  Shout knows play is so much more than fun and games. Studies show that unstructured play helps kids build fundamental skills like problem solving, coping, and conflict resolution. In other words: play is how kids become happy, healthy adults. Fall has arrived with crisp, cool air and new reasons to go out and play. So, let your kids take that rewarding jump into a pile of leaves. Take at trip to the park and watch their imaginations run free. The one thing you won’t do is worry about their clothes; play should get messy and Shout can help.
