Those of you who know me have come to understand that I am a bit of a neat freak. I can’t stand to see things dirty or out of place and with two boys under the age of 7, this is a never ending task. One of my huge pet peeves, is when I see streaks and finger prints all down the front of my appliances. I don’t know why they insist on touching the front of the dishwasher, but they do! I used to clean it with the cleanser I use on my counter tops or glass cleaner, which would remove the finger prints and grime, but they always leave streaks. Those finger prints and streaks are now gone, since I learned about a product line called Affresh.
Here is some information about Affresh from their site: The Affresh brand of products specifically helps keep appliances operating at peak performance, when used in conjunction with a regular maintenance routine as indicated in the appliance’s Use & Care Guide. First introduced in 2007, the products have evolved to include washer cleaners for traditional and high-efficiency washing machines as well as for dishwashers and garbage disposals, and a new line of cleaners designed to help clean everyday kitchen food spills and stuck on residue in the interior and exterior of household appliances.
Affresh was nice enough to send me some of their Stainless Steel Cleaner to try and I have been putting it to the test. So far, I am very happy with its performance. It cleans well and leaves the surface shiny and smooth. It smell nice and works fast. I will continue using this product for the next couple of weeks and be sure to give you all a update then, but so far I would say that I have found a new cleaning staple in my house!
Affresh products can be found locally at Sears or Home Depot and online at Whirlpool.com. The Stainless Steel Cleaner retails for $6.99.
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Affresh and received a bottle of Stainless Steel cleaner to facilitate my review and a gift code to thank me for taking the time to participate.
