When I was growing up, my parents always had a ton of costumes around the house. My mom would make one if we didn’t have it or couldn’t find it. Then I married a man who is a serious costumer as well. The fun continues! We dress up for the usual stuff like Halloween and Mardi Gras, but then also for birthday parties, music festivals, and family vacation ‘theme nights’. This is why I am thrilled to be writing my first review on one of my favorite things … COSTUMES!
I chose an Elvis costume from 50s costumes for my husband, Darren. He is a rock star at heart so this was a pretty easy decision! The website was easy to use and showcased a fun, bright color scheme and lots of clear, detailed photos of the costumes. Even with a specific theme like the 50’s, there were plenty of great choices of costumes. Everything from the characters in Grease, to carhops, prom dates, poodle skirt outfits, and even Elvis. There are options for every size range including men, women, and kids. The measurements are shown for each costume and size. This helped tremendously in choosing a size which can sometimes be a hassle when ordering online.

The costume showed up in just a few days. It was true to size and the measurements on the website were accurate. This costume included a sparkly white jumpsuit with flared legs, a red scarf, and a belt with a gold buckle. The fabric was typical costume quality and a bit see-through because it was white. We added our own wig, which was a ‘must’ because my husband normally sports long blond hair. The costume looked great! It is quick and easy to get on and instantly transforms the wearer into The King of Rock-n-Roll! This is a great addition to our collection. Thank you, thank you very much …
