Lately, I have been in search of holiday gifts that will spark the imagination and last. With all the toy recalls, I want to spend my money on toys that are made to exceed safety standards. In my search, I found Maukilo, which is a retailer that specializes in toys known for safety and craftsmanship.
Maukilo got it start in 2000 and is now owned by HABA, a 70 year old German toy company, and has the motto “Buy once. Play forever.” Since they are owned by HABA, they are able to offer the widest selection of HABA products in the US. Maukilo offers a wide selection of wooden and PVC-free plastic toys and games.
Maukilo was nice enough to send me a product for reveiw and I chose the Automoblox for my boys. Automoblox are wood cars that have interchangable wheels, windows, bumpers, and more. They are a high-quality building system that will delight and inspire children while fostering the development of important skills and learning foundations. The cars are even color coded so that kids can put them back to their original form if they want.
Wyatt and Blake have had a great time with these cars and love playing together with them. Wyatt likes the fact that he can build new designs and Blake just likes to make them roll. These super cool cars are high quality toys that keep my boys entertained and they keep going back to them. We received the set of three mini cars which retails for $29.99, which is a great value for the hours of fun they have had. The mini cars are the perfect size for my boys little hands.
