This week is “Child Passenger Safety Week”, and as moms, we want to keep our babies safe. With my boys always off the growth chart, I had a hard time deciding when to transition them to a booster seat. If you have some of these questions as well, here is some information to help you out.
Kids ages 4 to 5 years old using a booster seats have a 67% reduction in fatality risk vs. other 4-5 year olds riding unrestrained.
What makes things even more confusing is the fact that laws vary from state to state.
Keep in mind that the AAP recommends that children ride in booster until the age of 12 or 57’.
To help you out even more with all this info, Maxi-Cosi has compiled these, and other helpful statistics in a new infographic.
In an effort to keep toddlers safe, Maxi Cosi RodiFix booster seat—which will feature advanced side impact protection and IsoFix for easy installation, will be hitting the market. Stay tuned here, where I will be reviewing one of these seats and telling you how it works for Blake.

it sure does get confusing on what type of seat, the age and weigh of the child.. I have a car seat for the little guy, just turned 3 and fits in his seat okay.. the trouble I have is he so light weight and skinny with a tall torso and the straps are not comfortable when he has layers of clothes on… looking for to see the info you can provide/
