Money Savvy Monday: Keep the Communication Lines Open

Be sure to discuss the budget and where you stand with your spouse. It is very important that you are both on the same page.
Let each other know what you will need to spend, and calculate the budget accordingly.
If your car needs and oil change and the spouse needs a hair cut, they will need to be both worked in.
Don’t be afraid to say NO. If you can’t afford to spend the money, then say no. Decide together what is most important for the month.
If you work together, the budget is more likely to balance out.
