It is our favorite time of year at our house, Halloween!! The orange lights are out, the skeletons are in the yard, and the creepy ghosts are hanging up to give all who pass by a scare. Costumes are bought and my boys are ready. The only thing left to do is stock up on Halloween candy for Trick-or-Treaters and Class Parties. While my kids seem to go for any type of candy, I am all about the chocolate, which is why I usually go for a mixed bag. This year, Nestle has me covered, with their new additions for the 2013 Halloween Collection! Best part is, Nestle was nice enough to send my family a few bags of candy to try out!
New this year to the Nestle Halloween line-up are:

While I was most excited to see Butterfingers in two of the bags, my husband was all for the “Nuts about Peanuts” Bag and kept talking about O’Henry Candy Bars. The boys couldn’t decide if they were more excited about the Gummy Sweet Tarts or Nerds, but since Wyatt has braces, he will have to stick with the Nerds. I love the big Wonka Trickster Treat Bags, because there is something for everyone, but I will not share the Butterfingers!
These treats are sure to be a hit at any Halloween party and they are the perfect addition to your spooky recipes! If you need some recipe ideas, visit the Nestle Kitchen, where they are full of ideas! I think you could make the Halloween Dipped Marshmallow Pops even better, by dipping them in Nerds! So, be on the lookout for these treats, because they will be gone when the spooky fog of Halloween disappears!
