I Spy and Pixar Play Games Review for VTech Innotab MAX

Blake has been loving his new Innotab MAX and is quickly learning all that is can do, so of course he was looking for some new games to play.  Thankfully, we were recently sent two new games for the Innotab MAX to review.

InnoTab Pixar Play Learning Cartridge 

(Ages 4-7 years; MSRP: $24.99)

  • Find, match and sore a variety of photo-realistic objects across four action-packed thinking games that build logic, vocabulary and visual discrimination skills.

While Blake likes both games, his favorite of the two is the I Spy Adventure.  He loves the pattern game and the sound effects and you can see below.  I love that the games are educational and still fun for my little one.  Blake is six, so he is at the perfect age for both these games!

Last year for Christmas, the VTech Innotab was the top thing on Blake’s list.  He was so excited when he got it and has played with it all year long!  So, you can imagine his excitement when he recently got to try out the new VTech Innotab MAX!

Here are some of the features you will find on the Innotab MAX:

  • VTech’s 4th generation kids’ learning tablet features its fastest processor yet with up to six times the processing power of previous generation and a 7” high-resolution multi-touch screen display
  • InnoTab MAX features an enhanced 2nd generation version of Premium VTech Kid Connect™, at no additional charge, allowing children and parents to exchange voice and text messages, photos, drawings and fun stickers in real time between the tablet and a smartphone
  • InnoTab MAX offers the best of both learning worlds with access to more than 650 educator-endorsed, age and stage appropriate learning titles as well as carefully cultivated educational Android apps that can be purchased and downloaded through VTech’s Learning Lodge® app store
  • The tablet comes with 15 onboard apps including Premium VTech® Kid Connect, My Magic Beanstalk, Movie Maker, Art Studio, Wonder Cam Max, E-Reader with Story Dictionary and more

Blake has been having a blast exploring all the new features that the MAX has to offer.  He said that the “Innotab MAX is awesome because it has a bigger screen, the stylus is better, and I can send text messages to Daddy”!  He has fun using the camera to take pictures and make videos.  He also loves watching movies and listening to music.

Hubby said that the Innotab MAX was easy to set up and register.  Our only complaint is that we would love it to be compatible with the games we had for his older Innotab and it isn’t.  They do offer a game upgrade for a nominal fee.
