With my boys now growing up, they are now 10 and 6, I find them spending more time in their rooms. Also, we just bought a new house that allowed us to give them a game room upstairs, and they tend to spend hours there alone and with friends. You can view real time video on your tablet or mobile phone and it can be used anywhere, since no computer is needed. You can even receive push notifications on noise and movement.
Setting up is easy and hubby was able to do so in about 10 minutes. It actually took him longer to find a good place to set up the actual camera than it took to upload the app and connect it to the monitor. We can now check in on the boys, without them feeling like they are being constantly monitored. Freedom for them and peace of mind for us, which is priceless.
