Bake Something Sweet for Your Loved Ones this Valentine’s Day with Lucky Leaf: #Giveaway

I love treating my family to a special dessert and Valentine’s Day offers me the perfect reason to do so.  What better way to show you love somebody, than slaving over a special treat for them?  Not up for the slaving part, but still want to surprise your family, well Lucky Leaf has you covered!  Their pie fillings make the perfect addition to any recipe and they have plenty of recipes to choose from on their site.

lucky leaf logoLucky Leaf’s newly designed website lets you easily search out recipes, many which are bite sized treats.  And, you can even search by which pie filling variety you want to use.  I always go for Strawberry, but will have to give their Creme flavors a try soon.

To help kick off Valentine’s Day at my house, Lucky Leaf sent me a baking kit with some recipes to try.  I let the boys choose what they want, and since they are mine, the chose the Strawberry & Creme Chocolate Muffins.  The prep time was short and it took longer to layer the batters than anything else.  These muffins baked well and tasted great.  You do have to keep them in the fridge after they are cooled for storage, if they are not all gone, so I recommend heating in the microwave before serving.  I always love that Lucky Leaf’s recipes use basic baking ingredients that I usually have on hand and are simple to follow.

So whether your favorite is peach, apple, blueberry, cherry or strawberry, Lucky Leaf has the perfect recipe to surprise your loved ones with.  And, they have shared these adorable printables for you to use on your treats:

PRINTABLES
How to use our printables in 4 easy steps.
This project requires card stock or adhesive paper to print on, a craft knife, scissors and a one-and-a-half-inch circle craft punch (available at any craft store).
1.       Make sure you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer. If you don’t, it’s free, and you can download it here.
2.       Open the file and print it as is.
3.       Trim around the edges of the paper, then use a one-and-a-half-inch circle craft punch or scissors to cut out each tag.
4.       Use toothpicks to wrap the flag banners around.
