Disclosure: Carnival Cruise Lines hosted my family for this event. All opinions stated are my own.
On August 2nd, my family was honored to board the Carnival Dream, to celebrate the release of the new Dr. Seuss book, “What Pet Should I Get?”!
To celebrate this joyous occasion, Carnival Cruise Lines and Dr. Seuss Enterprises teamed up with the Louisiana Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and local celebrity Angela Hill for a special reading of “What Pet Should I Get?”. Along with hosting this event, Carnival also donated $10,000 to the Louisiana SPCA!
After the book reading, our family joined The Cat in the Hat, Sam-I-am, Thing 1 and Thing 2 for Carnival’s popular Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast with The Cat in the Hat and Friends, part of the line’s exclusive Seuss at Sea program.
The boys had a blast at this fun breakfast, which actually includes Green Eggs and Ham!
Here is some information about Carnival’s Seuss at Sea: Launched in 2014, Seuss at Sea is a fleetwide program featuring exciting youth, family, dining and entertainment experiences inspired by the amazing world and words of Dr. Seuss. The program includes such fun activities as the Seuss-a-palooza Parade and Story Time, as well as character interactions, Dr. Seuss toys and games and popular movies.
