Coca-Cola Supports the World Wildlife Federation with Arctic Home: Giveaway CLOSED

I have always been a huge animal lover!  One of my favorite places to go is the Zoo and I take comfort in my pets.  I guess this is why I thought it was so cool when Coca-Cola I first saw their commercials with the Polar Bears.  What I didn’t know is that Polar Bears have been a part of the Coca-Cola tradition since 1922!  That is a long running partnership, but the Polar Bears are no longer safe, and Coca-Cola wants to help them!

In order to help the Polar Bears, Coca-Cola has partnered with the World Wildlife Federation by creating a campaign called “Artic Home”.  This campaign will raise awareness and funds to help create a safe haven for the polar bears.

Here is how Coca-Cola plans to help:  They have made a commitment to helping the WWF and polar bear habitat preservation by donating an initial $2 million and matching donations through March—up to $1 million!

Here is how you can help:   To have Coca-Cola match your donation, simply text the code on specially-marked Arctic Home packages to 357357. You can also make donations online at ArcticHome.com. Each donation accompanied by a code from specially-marked packages will not only be matched, but a designated parcel of the virtual Arctic Home refuge will be donated in your name on the site.  You can also find new red “Arctic Home” cans on store shelves. This new limited-edition can advances awareness of our efforts to protect the polar bear’s Arctic home.

To celebrate the launch of Artic Home, Coca-Cola is offering one lucky reader a chance to win a Polar Bear Prize Pack!  This pack is full of cuddly polar bear goodness and includes: a Polar Bear Hat with attached paw mittens, a Polar Bear Stuffed Animal, a Polar Bear 3-D Puzzle, a Polar Bear  Shaped Pillow, a Bear Shapes Ice Cube Tray, a Polar Bear Cookie Cutter, and a Red Throw Blanket!  For your chance to win, just follow the rules below.

I learned that the polar bear spends its life on the Arctic sea ice where it hunts, lives and breeds. Unfortunately, the sea ice is melting at an unprecedented rate, and the loss of habitat is now the polar bear’s greatest threat.
