Cook Something New Tonight with Sea Best Seafood

Down here in New Orleans, we eat a lot of seafood.  My boys love crawfish, shrimp and fish, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t use a little help now and then with meal ideas.  A couple weeks ago, I was lucky enough to be invited to a dinner event hosted by Sea Best Seafood, where I was treated to some gourmet meal options that are super quick and easy to cook.

Here is some information about Sea Best Seafood:  Sixty years ago, a small family fish store opened in Jacksonville, Florida with a vision of putting the highest quality seafood on America’s tables for the best price. Today, as one of the top seafood suppliers in the U.S., our family still loves bringing you an incredible variety of seafood frozen at its freshest, so you and your family can enjoy the flavor and health benefits that could only come from the sea.  They freeze their seafood when it is at its freshest, so that you can always have the best seafood at your convenience.

I was glad to spend some time with the Sea Best team, where I learned more about the company.  Like I said before, I am used to eating seafood and it is easily accessible in my area.  But, I learned that since they freeze their seafood at its freshest, that it the next best thing to a seafood market, and sometimes even better.  Plus, they can offer me items, such as clams, that are not usually found fresh in my area.

Next, our meal started with Scallop Egg Rolls (which were my favorite) and Buffalo Shrimp Dip.  Then we were treated to three entrees:  Rice Fish Cakes, Ahi Tuna Salad Melt, and Walk the Plank Stew.   As someone who is used to eating fresh seafood, I will admit I was skeptical, but I can say that I was won over.  My favorite entree was the Ahi Tuna Salad Melt, which had shredded carrots and fresh tuna. YUM!!

All of these recipes and more, can be found by visiting Sea Best Seafood, which are catagorized for easy searching.  And, you can find a $1 off coupon on their site to get you started!  To learn more about this company, become their fan on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.  Be sure to ask for Sea Best Seafood where ever you shop!
