Enjoy Baking this Holiday Season with Lucky Leaf: Giveaway CLOSED

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is the desserts! I definitely have a sweet tooth and I am not afraid to feed it! I also enjoy baking for friends and family this time of year and am always on the lookout for new recipes. Thanks to Lucky Leaf’s new Bake Your Heart Out Cookbook, I have some new recipes to try.

 Since 1949 Lucky Leaf has stayed true to its mission of providing simple, delicious dessert products for families across the United States by constantly improving our products to meet the changing needs of our customers.  And,  today they have a number of delicious varieties of pie filling to choose from, including Premium Cherry, Apple, Blueberry, Lemon, Red Raspberry, Lite, and Crème in your grocery stores.  Their Bake Your Heart Out Cookbook features 20 full-color, delicious recipes, all tested by the Better Homes and Gardens Test Kitchen, and puts their pie fillings to great uses!

Lucky Leaf was nice enough to send me a copy of their new cookbook along with some pie fillings to try out this holiday season.  It took me a while to narrow down which recipe I was going to try first, but I decided to cook their Sweet Apple Crispers, which were a hit!  I loved that this recipe took only about 30 minutes to cook and was super easy to prepare.  My only recommendation, would be to cut the apples a little smaller before using.  Everyone who tried these crispers were a fan, and I have been told that I need to bring these with me Christmas Day.  The next thing on my list to try baking is the Strawberry Cream Cheese Passion Pie, YUM!
