I recently became a member of the Netflix Stream Team, and was sent product to facilitate my posts. All opinions stated are my own.
A couple of years ago, we were really struggling to make our monthly budget balance. When it came down to things, we were spending around $80/mth on cable and decided that it was time to cut the cord. We purchased a streaming device and started our Netflix subscription. I feel like it was one of the smartest decisions we have ever made and we are still without cable, even though it could now easily fit into our budget. That being said, you can imagine how thrilled I was when I was asked to join the Netflix Stream Team! Netflix + Me = Happiness!!
So, here are my favorite Netflix features:
- The Kids Category– When this is chosen, my kids can only choose the shows that are appropriate for them to watch, and I can see everything that has been viewed.
- No Waiting– So, I may not be the most patient person, so I love being able to watch more than one episode of a show in a row without waiting a week.
- Suggestions– Netflix suggests shows based on what I have previously viewed, and I have found some really good shows this way.
- Cost– At $8 a month, it is 1/10th the cost of what we were paying for cable.
- Original Programming– I may have become slightly addicted to their original series, which are really good!
