Find All Your Favorite Classic Stories in the The Family Storybook Treasury Book: Giveaway and Review CLOSED

My boys are so used to their nightly routine, which includes at least one book being read, that even when we are visiting family they go in search of something to read.  The in-laws try to keep some books around, but are not always sure of what the boys are into.  I was so excited to tell them about the release of The Family Storybook Treasury: Tales of Laughter, Curiosity, and Fun.  This book is a collection of your most well-loved picture books and poetry, now available in one beautiful keepsake volume with bonus audio CD!

Here is a list of the picture books that are included in this collection:

  1. Curious George and the Firefighters by Margret and H. A. Rey
  2. Martha Speaks by Susan Meddaugh
  3. Lyle Walks the Dogs by Bernard Waber, illustrated by Paulis Waber
  4. Sheep in a Jeep by Nancy Shaw, illustrated by Margo Apple
  5. Tacky the Penguin by Helen Lester, illustrated by Lynn Munsinger
  6. Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed by Eileen Christelow
  7. The Great Doughnut Parade by Rebecca Bond
  8. Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel by Virginia Lee Burto

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt was nice enough to send my family a copy of The Family Storybook Treasury to review.  I was so happy to see a Lyle story in the book, Wyatt loves Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel, and Blake loves Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed.  There were a few stories we didn’t know, like Sheep in a Jeep, but they are quickly becoming family favorites.  The CD is great for car rides while the boys hold the book and read along.  This is the perfect book to bring along to the in-laws or to get them a copy of their own.

The Family Storybook Treasury would make a great holiday gift for all kids!  This book retails for only $18.99 and can be purchased now from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

Would your kids enjoy these classic stories?  Houghton Mifflin Harcourt is offering one lucky reader a chance to win a copy of The Family Storybook Treasury!  For your chance to win, just follow the rules below.
