Need extra money for your holiday shopping? H&R Block has you covered with their Emerald Advance line of Credit!
We have a lot of kids in our family, which means we are buying a lot of gifts. One of the things I try to do is start shopping in early November and pick up a few gifts each week, so that our budget does not get overwhelmed. Also, putting away money each month is preparation also helps.
But, just in case you need a little extra cash this year for gifts or travel, H&R Block can help. Starting on November 25th, H&R Block will begin excepting applications for the Emerald Advance Line of Credit in their offices, but you can make an appointment now. If you plan to apply, make sure you have: an unexpired government issued photo ID and your most recent pay stub. This Line of Credit, which has a $1000 maximum, can be drawn from as needed year round, and you don’t even have to be an existing H&R Block client to apply.
I think organization is key, when it comes to the holidays and trying to stay within budget. When my husband and I start shopping, we begin with making a list of all the people we have to buy for and a dollar value for what we are planning to spend. For the most part, this works really well, and keeps us in check. We also set a price limit for each other, so that we don’t go overboard.
How do you handle the financial crunch of the holidays? If you are looking for more suggestions, check out the H&R Block site where you can learn more.
Could you use a little extra cash this Holiday season? I know silly question! But, the great news is H&R Block is offering one lucky reader a chance to win a $300 H&R Block Emerald Master Card! For your chance to win, just follow the Rafflecopter Rules below.
