Get Ready to See Nicholas Sparks’ Safe Haven in Theaters: #Giveaway @safehavenmovie

I remember seeing The Notebook in the theater and bawling my eyes out.  It probably didn’t help that I was pregnant at the time, but to this day it is one of those movies that I watch everytime I find it on TV.  Nicholas Sparks seems to have a way with his characters that just draws you in and keeps you wanting more.  I love to read and am a big advocate of finishing a book before I head to the theater, so now I best get to reading Safe Haven.

The movie adaptation is set to hit theaters on February 8, 2013 and will star Josh Duhamel and Julianne Hough.  And, yes I will watch anything with Josh, so this is a double plus for me!

Here is the synopsis of the film:  When a mysterious young woman arrives in a small North Carolina town, her reluctance to join the tight knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex, a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.  But even as Katie begins to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts and terrifies her . . . a past that set her on a fearful, shattering journey across the country, to the sheltered oasis of Southport. With Jo’s empathic and stubborn support, Katie eventually realizes that she must choose between a life of transient safety and one of riskier rewards . . . and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven.

Can’t wait till February, you can catch a glimpse of this film in this trailer:
