Thanks to winter weather, my skin is dry and cracking, which I hate! What I hate even more than my own skin issues is seeing my boys battle the effect that winter has on their skin. From the eczema to the dry patches and itchiness, they become miserable. Do you battle these same issues in your house? Then I am going to tell you about a couple of new products that I recently tried, Lowila Care Cleansing Bar and LAC-HYDRIN FIVE Moisturizing Lotion, which really helped my family.
The Lowila Care Cleansing Bar, which is a dermatologist recommended, soap free cleanser helps relieve dry, irritated skin. This bar is specifically formulated for individuals with conditions such as eczema, dry or sensitive skin. The LAC-HYDRIN FIVE Moisturizing Lotion, a non-greasy, alpha-hydroxy-acid lotion formulathat has been clinically proven to relieve the dryness and scaliness associatedwith dry skin. Both of these products are available of the counter and are safe to use on the whole family, even baby!
Ranbaxy was nice enough to send my family a few samples of the Lowila Bar and Lac-Hydrin Five Lotion to try. I am always skeptical of trying a soap-free cleanser, mostly because my boys smell like dogs at the end of the day, but this bar exceeded my expectations. Not only does it lather well, but it also leaves them smelling clean without drying their skin. The Lac-Hydrin Five Lotion did a great job of moisturizing without leaving behind a greasy mess. The boys actually didn’t even complain about me lotioning them up and could easily put on their pjs when I was done.
I would recommend both of these products to help combat the effects of winter weather and prevent eczema flair ups. LAC-HYDRIN FIVE Moisturizing Lotion is now available for purchase at CVS and retails for $14.99 for an 8oz bottle. The Lowila Cleansing Bar is available online at amazon.com for $23.99 for a 3-pack.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW IS MY OPINION. THANK YOU TO RANBAXY FOR SUPPLYING THESE PRODUCTS FOR REVIEW.
