Iron Man Armored Adventures Season 2, Volume 2 DVD: Review

There has always been a connection between a boy and their favorite super hero. Whether it be Batman, Spiderman, or Iron Man, they will defend their hero at all costs. For my boys, it is always Iron Man! I don’t known if it is his cool suit or the fact that he is smart, but they think he rules. Knowing that, it is now surprise that one of their favorite animated series is Iron Man: Armored Adventures.  Since we often miss this show when it airs on Nicktoons, we were happy to hear that Iron Man: Armored Adventures Season 2 Vol 2 will soon be released on DVD.

Here is a list of the episodes, numbers 7-12)  included on this DVD:

Titanium vs. Iron

The Might of Doom

The Hawk and The Spider

Enter: Iron Monger

Fugitive of S.H.I.E.L.D.

All The Best People are Mad

Gaiam and Vivendi Entertainment was nice enough to send my family over a copy of this DVD to review. As with all the previous Iron Man Armored Adventures DVDs we have reviewed, the boys love this show.  I don’t know if it is because Tony Stark and friends are teenagers and therefore more like them or if it is just good writing, but this series holds their attention and keeps them wanting more.  Be sure to watch The Hawk and The Spider episode, where Iron Man meets Black Widow and Hawkeye, which are part of the Avengers team.  That was the boys favorite episode.  The plus side of this series, for hubby and I, is that we like the it too, which makes it great for family TV time.

Iron Man: Armored Adventures Season 2 Vol 2 has a running time of 139 minutes and retails for $14.93.  This DVD is available for pre-order now from Amazon.com.

Disclosure:  Gaiam and Vivendi Entertaiment sent me this DVD free of charge to facilitate my review.  All opinions stated are my own.
