Join Me at the Annual March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction in NOLA

I will admit that hubby and I don’t get a date night as often as we would like.  Lately, it has seemed like almost not at all, which is why I am looking forward to this year’s Annual March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction!  This year’s event will be held at the New Orleans Marriott on Friday, November 2, 2012 and is presented by East Jefferson General Hospital.  Proceeds from Signature Chefs Auction will benefit the March of Dimes campaign to reduce the rate of premature births, birth defects, and other serious threats to babies’ health.

The Cause:  The March of Dimes is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality. Founded in 1938, the March of Dimes funds programs of research, community services, education, and advocacy to save babies.  More than half a million babies are born too soon each year. 193 of these babies are born each week in Louisiana. That’s why it is so important for local events like this to support the March of Dimes efforts to help prevent birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

As any great NOLA event, there will be great food, great music, and awesome auction packages to bid on from celebrity auctioneers!
