I remember when I couldn’t wait for summer to come around. It was so much fun going on vacation, sleeping late, and going to Summer Camp. We always got to do fun crafts and play outside for most of the day.
Now that Wyatt is in school, I have been on the search for a good fit for him for this summer. I want something that will be fun and keep his attention, and if he can learn while he is there, even better! During my search, I came across KinderCare.
Here is some information about KinderCare from their site: KinderCare Learning centers is owned and operated by Portland, Oregon-based Knowledge Learning Corporation, the nation’s leading private provider of early childhood education and care. KinderCare Learning centers comprises approximately 1,700 community-based centers in 38 states and the District of Columbia serving more than 300,000 children and employing approximately 41,000 people. They create an environment where children are safe, nurtured, loved, and encouraged to learn. And at KinderCare centers across America, parents are learning why we have become the leading private provider of early childhood education and care in the United States.
KinderCare has designed a summer day camp program from the input of over 3,000 children. Their camp is run on weekly themes including science, art, sports, history, nature and much, much more. There is a new theme for all 12 weeks of summer! Children ages Pre-K through School-Age are allowed to attend and you can register online. To learn more about KinderCare Summer Camp Program or to see if they have camp available in your area, just visit KinderCare.com.
I wish they had a location closer to our house, because I know that Wyatt would really enjoy their Gross and Gooey Science, Art Expo, and Kid’s Kitchen Weeks.
If you need some help with the kids this summer or just don’t want them lounging in front the couch for 2 months, check out all the options available from the KinderCare Summer Camp Program.
