Are you looking for a toy that will not only spark your child’s imagination, but will also do so with out the assistance of batteries and making noise? Then you need to check out the Fortamajig Fun Fort, which is brought to you by The Happy Kid Company! I know it has a funny name, but the possibilities are endless with this product, which kids can convert into a tent, fort, and more!
Here is some information about The Happy Kid Company from their site: Since 2006, The Happy Kid Company has been one of the pioneers in portable, inventive play forts, allowing kids across the country to quickly create anything– from teepees and tents to tunnels – instantly and easily. Their previous product lines – THE ORIGINAL FORTAMAJIG and FORTAMAJIG CONNECTABLES — were acclaimed award-winners, capturing accolades from many the most influential parenting organizations in the country including Parents’ Choice and NAPPA. And, now, THE FORTAMAJIG FUN FORT!, their latest imagination-sparking creation has captured a Parents’ Choice Silver Award!
The Happy Kid Company was nice enough to send my family a Fortamajig Fun Fort to review. The first thing that I notices was that it comes in its own bag for storage and has no extra parts to loose, which are both huge pluses in my book. I then notice that the material is weather resistant and sturdy enough to handle my boys. The Velcro loops that are placed around the material make fort building easy and there are even tabs in the middle to make your fort more tent-like.
My husband and I decided to surprise the boys on Christmas morning, and hid all their presents under the fort for them to find. I must say they were impressed and had a great time crawling into the fort. I am so happy that all my sheets and blankets are now safe from tent building, now that they have their own special sheet to build a fort!
The Fortamajig Fun Fort is an 8×8 foot square piece of durable, water-resistant (and machine washable) material. It has built in, stretchy loops, which consist of 20 adjustable exterior loops and 9 interior. Able to fold up to less than 1 square foot for easy storage and portability and with no hard pieces to break or lose, it’s the ultimate portable, storable and durable all-in-one play space!
You can purchase the Fortamajig Fun Fort online from The Happy Kid Company for $34.95. But, if you order any additional items from them, use the code What Mommies Need for an additional 15% off!
