Make Way for Mr. Peabody & Sherman at Theaters and Home Depot: #Giveaway

DW Animation provided product to facilitate this review and giveaway.  All opinions stated are my own.

My kids love going to the movies.  Honestly I think it is one of their favorite family outings, probably because they get popcorn and Icees, but whatever the reason, they really look forward to these days.  Which would totally explain why they get excited over any family friendly movie trailer they see.  Recently, they saw the trailer for Mr. Peabody and Sherman, which they giggled their way through and then both declared “We want to see that”!  This movie hits theaters on March 7, 2014.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman movie poster

To get kids ready for the film and teach them how Mr. Peabody builds, Home Depot is hosting a FREE hands-on workshop, where kids can build a Build a Trojan Horse Bank! This workshop is designed for children ages 5 – 12, and will take place at participating Home Depot locations between 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1st.  All participants will get to keep their craft, receive a FREE certificate of achievement, a Workshop Apron, and a commemorative pin. But, Kids Workshop activities are scheduled on a first come/first served basis, so Register online now!

Ready to know more about this film?  Well, it stars the voices of:  Ty Burrell, Max Charles, Ariel Winter, Stephen Colbert, Leslie Mann, Patrick Warburton, Stanley Tucci, Allison Janney, Lake Bell, Zach Callison, and Dennis Haysbert.  And, there is the film synopsis, Mr. Peabody, the most accomplished dog in the world, and his mischievous boy Sherman , use their time machine—the WABAC—to go on the most outrageous adventures known to man or dog. But when Sherman takes The WABAC out for a joyride to impress his friend Penny, they accidently rip a hole in the universe, wreaking havoc on the most important events in world history.  Before they forever alter the past, present and future, Mr. Peabody must come to their rescue, ultimately facing the most daunting challenge of any era:  figuring out how to be a parent. Together, the time traveling trio will make their mark on history.
