I did it!! I survived the Fast 5! Yes, all those exclamation points are necessary, because it wasn’t easy.
I do feel successful and I think that is the best way to tackle the amount of weight that I need to lose on my Nutrisystem journey.
Tips for surviving the Fast 5:
- Drink lots of water. (use calorie flavorings if you need too, just make sure they are calorie-free)
- Eat lots of veggies. (raw, steamed, sauteed in chicken broth and however else you can think of)
- Space out your eating to every 2-3 hours, it really helps with the hunger.
- Expect to be hungry the first week, but it does get better.
- Focus on where you want to be in the end.
So, now for the numbers:
Weight lost: 6.4 lbs
Inches lost: 1/2 in. in my waist
This week I get to eat a little more food and a larger variety. I also have to add in daily exercise, which I am both excited about and dreading.
