Last weekend was one of those experiences that will last a lifetime! Thanks to Pampers, my husband (aka. Most Valuable Dad), was given the royal treatment when the whole family took a quick jaunt over to New York City! Once there, we attended a meet and greet with new dad, and New Orleans Native, Eli Manning and a Mets Game! Manning joined forces with Pampers to help pay homage to all the “Most Valuable Dads”! Manning was accompanied by his one-year-old daughter Ava and threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Citi Field before the New York Mets Father’s Day Game.
The weather in New York was beautiful and the boys had a blast! Wyatt and Wade ventured to the top of the Empire State Building and Blake rode his first Ferris Wheel. On Sunday, we headed to Citi-Field, to enjoy our first Major League Baseball Game. Yes, it was a weekend full of firsts! We got our picture taken with Eli Manning and then settled in for some baseball. Blake was impressed with how well the grass was cut and Wyatt learned how much fun you can have with a foam finger.
It was so great to share all these experiences as a family and celebrate my husband for the great dad that he is to our children! Thanks to Pampers for showing all the Dads out there how special they are to us!
If you have a dad that you would like to celebrate, then look no further! Pampers is continuing the celebration of dads beyond Father’s Day. Beginning June 20th, families can log on to the Pampers Facebook page and visit the “Most Valuable Dad” tab for a chance to win exciting prizes for dads and their little sluggers. Disclosure: As a member of Pampers Baby Board, Pampers paid for my family’s flights, hotel, ball park tickets, concessions, and a goodie bag. All opinions stated are my own.
