Thanks to my husband’s eternal readiness to watch movies, we recently had another movie night. Since I really enjoy history, this time we watched Amelia. The movie that tells the story of Amelia Earhart’s life.
Here is a little bit about the movie: Experience the romance, struggle and triumph of legendary aviatrix Amelia Earhart as she chases love and lives her dreams in Amelia, landing on Blu-ray Disc with Digital Copy and DVD February 2 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Hailed as “The Queen of the Air,” Amelia boldly flew into the annals of history with her solo flight across the Atlantic Ocean. Bound by ambition and love, her enduring marriage to George Putnam could not be broken by her determination to fly, or a secret passionate affair. Equal parts gripping drama, stirring romance and epic adventure, Amelia will take your breath away and send your spirit soaring!
20th Century Fox was nice enough to send us a copy of Amelia for review. I really enjoyed the movie, and was amazed to learn all the things that Amelia had accomplished in her life. I like how the movie showed her for who she was, including her affair, and undying love for her husband. Amelia was a fascinating woman and my husband and I both thought the movie was well done.
Amelia has a running time of 111 minutes and is rated PG. This DVD can be purchased from Amazon.com and retails for $29.99.

That’s a tough question. I like a lot of movies. I think Empire of the Sun is my all-time favorite, though–best movie ever made, IMHO.
