Review and Giveaway: Babalu CLOSED

Ever wish that you could find great toys that would evoke your child’s imagination?  What if those toys required no batteries and costed less than $25.  Would you even believe me?  Well, if you think that sounds to good to be true, then you must check out the classic toys available from Babalu.

Babalu is bringing back felt storyboards, building blocks, and other classic toys that children have loved for generations.  The felt storyboards come in a variety of designs and retail for $19.95.  Shadow books come with a flashnight and take story telling to a whole new level.  And, various types of building blocks finish up their holiday releases.

Babalu was nice enough to send my family a felt storyboard and shadow book for review.  We got the felt storyboard in “Dinosaur Days” and the Shadow Book in “Camp Out”.  Wyatt loved the felt storyboard and had a great time putting together a dinosaur scene and telling me all about his picture.  Here is his scene of the dinosaurs eating the clouds, the trees, and each other.

He wanted to bring his board in the car this morning and it was the first toy that he played with today when he got home from school.  The board is thick and well made.  I love that it comes with a plastic pouch to put the felt pieces into when not in use.  I only wish the pouch was bigger and attached to the board.

These items and other fun toys can be purchased from Babalu.  I would recommend either of the books that I received as great gifts buys. Remember that none of these items cost more than $25, which puts it in the perfect price range for gift giving.

Would your kids like to use their imagination with one of these fun toys?  Babalu has offered one lucky reader their choice of  a Felt Tales Storyboard.  For your chance to win, just follow the rules below.
