Review and Giveaway: Casio Waveceptor Watch CLOSED

My husband never wears a watch, mostly because he could never find one that fit him comfortably.  He has large wrists and the bands were never big enough.  I have bought him many different types, but they just don’t work out.  So, I was skeptical when his was asked to try out a Casio Waveceptor Watch.

waveceptor watch

Here is a description of Casio’s Waveceptor Atomic Dual-Time Watch:  The Casio Men’s Waveceptor Atomic Dual-Time Watch #WVQ400J-1 combines convenient, athletic attributes and sophisticated styling. With a stainless steel case and bezel, a black resin band, and a black dial, this timepiece is a fashionable, durable choice for everyday wear. Its unique face includes three subdials, small white indices marking each second, faceted silver-tone indices marking each hour, three hands, and luminous accents. A small, digital display at four o’clock provides added functionality, while a window made of acrylic acid resin protects the face. This watch is water resistant to 330 feet and is backed by a one-year manufacturer warranty.

This watch offers all of the following features:
Multi-band 2 Atomic Timekeeping (US, JAP)
Solar Powered
100M Water Resistant
Bi-Lingual Day of Week
Display (ENG, JPN)
LED Light w/Afterglow / Auto LED Light w/Afterglow
World Time (30 cities)
1/100 Sec. Stopwatch
3 Daily Alarms / Daily Alarm
Hourly Time
Signal
Power Save Function
12/24 Hr. Formats

Casio sent my husband a Waveceptor Atomic Dual-Time Watch to review and he has worn this watch more that I have ever seen him wear any other watch.  His favorite feature is that it is atomic and therefore sets itself.  He also likes that the band is large enough to be comfortable on him.  He thinks that the watch is cool and likes that it is stylish and funtional.  I like that he no longer has an excuse for running late.LOL  Here he is showing you all his new watch.

Overall, my husband has been very happy with his new watch.  He feels it  is easy to set, once you read the manual.  His main problem is that the buttons are very easy to accidentaly press, which can change your settings, but he is learning how to avoid this.

Casio’s Waveceptor Atomic Dual-Time Watch is available on Amazon for only $85.95.  This is a great price for such a cool gift, which is sure to please that special guy in your life.

First of all I agree that if a watch isn’t comfortable, don’t expect me(n) to wear it. Next, in addition to the Casio Waveceptor Atomic Dual-Time Watch, the Multi-Band 5 Atomic Solar Pathfinder (PAW 1500-1V) would be another watch I would enjoy having. :)
