Ever have one of those days that nothing seems to go right? The more you try to fix things, the more they go downhill, and by the end of the day all you want to do is relax and laugh a little. The next time you have one of those days, check out 20 Century Fox‘s new DVD release, Date Night.
Here is the synopsis of Date Night: One ordinary couple. One crazy night. The uproarious story of mistaken identity starring two of the world’s biggest comedic talents. Steve Carell and Tina Fey. Filled with non-stop laughs and outrageous situations, this movie follows a sensible, loving couple with two kids and a house in suburban New Jersey. Their typical date nights include a run-of-the-mill eventing with little to no romance, but one night they decide to reignite the spark by going to Manhattan’s hottest new restaurant…without a reservation. What happens next is a wild ride that goes hilariously awry, as they embark on a dangerous series of crazy adventures to save their lives, and their marriage.
20th Century Fox was nice enough to send me a copy of Date Night to review. It was the perfect remedy to end a miserable day. Hubby and I both thought it was really funny and continually laughed out loud. The movie was much more creative than I was expecting and made for a really good “date movie”.LOL I loved that Mark Wahlberg spends most of his scenes shirtless!
Date Night has a running time of 88 minutes and is rated PG-13. It is available on Blu-Ray for $39.99 or DVD for $29.98 from amazon.com.
