Here is the synopsis of Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure:  It’s time to celebrate Nochebuena with Dora in Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure. Filled with original songs and exclusive extra scenes, this Christmas special will become a holiday favorite for the whole family! When Swiper tries to swipe the Christmas Star from Dora’s Nochebuena Party, he lands on Santa’s naughty list. To get back on the nice list, Dora must help Swiper travel to the past, the present, and the future to discover the true spirit of Christmas.

Nickelodeon was nice enough to send my family a copy of Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure on DVD to review.  Wyatt and Blake were both totally entertained by this Dora special, especially when they time travel.  Blake had a great time dancing to all the songs and helping Swiper.  I felt this show was a great way to teach kids about what Christmas is all about.

Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure has a running time of 52 minutes and retails for $19.99.  This DVD comes with an all-new packaging which includes a Countdown to Christmas Calendar and also includes the Bonus Features: Music Video: “Jingle Bells”, Music Video: “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”,  and Behind-the-Scenes Featurette: Young People’s Chorus.   You can purchase this DVD now from amazon.com.
