Review and Giveaway: Edward’s A La Mode Singles CLOSED

I have learned over time that it is not a good idea to keep huge desserts in my house.  If it is there, I want to taste it and then I end up eating more than I should.  I have learned the best way to keep desserts in my house is to buy them in small portion sizes, which is why I am so happy that Edward’s Desserts has just added THREE new A La Mode Flavors to their singles line.

Edwards Logo

Here is a little bit about the company from their site:  Edwards® brand is committed to providing consumers with convenient, great-tasting desserts made with premium, high-quality ingredients. They even prepare, bake and crush their own cookies on site to make the freshest cookie crust possible in our delicious whole creme pies and slices. The Edwards® brand stands for exceptional indulgences made effortless.  Edwards just added three new varietiesto its Edwards Singles Á La Modes line including Hot Molten Lava Chocolate Cake, Hot Chocolate Chip Cookie and Hot Apple Crumb Cake. Each dessert bakes hot in the microwave in less than one minute and is topped with cool, creamy ice cream for a complete à la mode experience. YUMMY!!

Edwards was nice enough to send me some coupons to try out their new a la mode flavors.  I decided on trying the Hot Chocolate Chip Cookie, but since I could not find it at my grocery store, I went for the Hot Turtle Brownie with Creamy Ice Cream.  Yes, I know that sounds like a huge sacrifice.LOL  This dessert was decadent!!  I loved the warm brownie and caramel mixed with the cold ice cream.  It cured my sweet tooth without making me feel like I over indulged.  These treats are the perfect solution for a late night snack.

edwards a la mode

Edwards a la mode singles can be found at your local grocery store.  They range in price, but I found them on special for $2.50.  Two single desserts come in each box.  One for now and one for later, since you won’t be willing to share.

Just like Edwards likes to treat you to dessert, they also want to treat moms to some “me” time.  They are treating one lucky mom to a first-class trip for two to Hollywood, Calif., including round-trip airfare, five-star hotel accommodations and tickets to an exclusive red-carpet event, along with a supply of Edwards Singles desserts to indulge in all year long.  From now through April 23, you can visit www.facebook.com/edwardsdesserts to nominate any mom you know who deserves this prize.

And, if you would like to try some tasty desserts, Edwards is offering one lucky reader a chance to win 3 coupons, each good for one a la mode dessert.  For your chance to win, just follow the rules below.
