I remember hearing my friends at work talking about this great new show they were watching called Glee.  I decided that I must check it out, so I sat down on a Tuesday night and watched.  I must say that I immediately was hooked!  Between the humor and drama, it is the perfect mix for a TV series.  Since I missed the beginning of the season, I was impatiently waiting for Glee: The Complete First Season to be released on DVD.  My wait ended on September 14th when this DVD was released.

Here is what the series Glee is all about:  GLEE follows a group of eager and ambitious students as they strive to outshine their singing competition while navigating the cruel halls of McKinley High. Although New Directions lost at Regionals, they now have their sights set on making it to Nationals and defeating their arch rivals, Vocal Adrenaline.

20th Century Fox was nice enough to send me a copy of Glee: The Complete First Season on DVD to review.  I had a great time watching the episodes that I had missed and re-watching some of the ones that I had.   My favorite episode was The Power of Madonna, which I had missed, but heard so much about.  This will be a DVD collection that I can watch multiple times and still find new things to laugh about.

Glee: The Complete First Season is a 7 disc DVD or 4 disc Blu-Ray release, both of which is full of extras and bonus materials.  This release has a running time of 1045 minutes and is available for purchase now from Amazon.com. 
This would make a great gift for any “Gleek”!  The Blu-Ray version retails for $69.99 and the DVD version retails for $59.98.

    I’ve never watched Glee, so I don’t have a favorite character (yet)! I DVRed the first few episodes last fall, but then my DVR died and I lost all the episodes… and I never caught up! But I’d love to try to catch up now. :)

    I’ve never watched, which is why I’d love to win this. I’d like to see what all the hoopla is over this show. From the commercials I’ve seen, Sue looks like a hoot.

    I think I’m the only person in the country that has yet to catch an episode of Glee, and yet, so many of my friends swear by it! I’d love to win this to earn my entry into the “cool kids club”….lol!
