Like most little boys, Wyatt loves everything related to Super Heroes. I think a lot of this comes from his dad’s love of comic books, but mostly just from being a boy. It must have something to do with their genetic make-up.LOL We are always playing superheroes or watching them on TV, which is how we first saw the Iron Man Armored Adventures cartoon.
Here is some information about the show: “Iron Man: Armored Adventures” follows Tony Stark, 16-year-old genius and heir to the billion-dollar corporation Stark International, as he battles the enemies of world peace with his revolutionary power armor technology. Growing up, Tony had always lived a life of luxury, but everything went horribly wrong when a tragic plane accident robbed him of his father and nearly cost him his own life. Eager to honor the memory of his dad, Tony now uses his suit of invincible armor and technical know-how to protect those who would also fall prey to tragedy, corruption and conspiracy. With help from his friends Jim Rhodes and Pepper Potts, Tony’s activities as Iron Man usually result in high-speed flight, high-tech battles and high-octane quests for justice.
Genius Products was nice enough to send us a copy of Iron Man:Armored Adventures Volume 1 to review. We already knew Wyatt enjoyed this show, but I had not realized how much. I think he relates better to this cartoon, since the super hero is younger. He tried talking us into letting him watch the whole disc in one sitting, but was not sucessful.LOL My husband also likes the series, even though he is not a huge fan of the animation they use. If your child likes super heroes, this is a good place to start, since I feel that this series is less violent than others that I have seen.
Iron Man: Armored Adventures Vol. 1 was just released on October 20, 2009 and has a running time of 132 minutes. This DVD features the first six episodes of this popular series and retails for $16.95. If you want to buy Iron Man Armored Adventures for your little boy, it is available online at Amazon.com.

Zack and Miri was actually a touching comedy (though placed in a disgusting world) and I wouldn’t mind seeing it again. It wasn’t quite as raunchy as you’d expect… IronMan, however, would be for DS, he loves this show!
