Review and Giveaway: Magic School Bus Science Kit CLOSED

Like I have told you all before, Wyatt has a huge interest in all things science, which I think is great.  He has enjoyed all the usual science toys, such as the ant farm, butterfly garden, and bug vacuum, so we were on the search for some new suggestions for his upcoming birthday and Christmas.  We found just what we were looking for at The Young Scientist Club.

YoungScientists_MSBSlime_WEB

The Young Scientist Club is known for their high-quality science kits, which are intended for kids ages 5 and older.  These kits take the concepts learned in the classroom and turns them into a fun at-home project where kids can see results and reactions in front of their own eyes.  They carry a wide variety of science kits from The Magic School Bus, The Young Scientist Series, and Adventure Science Series.

The Young Scientist Club was nice enough to send us a science kit to review.  Since Wyatt love The Magic School Bus, we choose their Diving Into Slime, Gel, and Goop Kit.  With this kit, you produce glue from milk, grow jiggly marbles, form a bouncy ball, create slime, and much more!!  Wyatt loved doing the science experiments!  We sucessfullly created the glue and made a bouncy ball.  The hardest part was explaining that we could not do all the experiments in one day.  Here he is making his glue and then proudly showing his bouncy ball.

I thought the kit was well done and the instructions easy to follow.  It came with a booklet to explain the experiments and what makes them work, such as how a polymer is formed.  Wyatt has already began asking if there are more kits that we can do.LOL

If you have a young scientist in you family, these kits would make a perfect gift and they are a great price.  The Magic School Bus Kits retail for only $19.99 and offer hours of educational fun.

Would your little one love to do some science experiments at home?  If so, you are in luck, because The Young Scientist Club has offered one lucky reader a science kit.  The winner can choose from the following kits:  Magic School Bus Going Green, Magic School Bus Diving Into Slime, or Science on a Gardening Adventure.
