Review and Giveaway: Marmaduke DVD CLOSED

I don’t know what it is about animal movies, but I just find them irresistable.  I guess that Wyatt is following in my footsteps, because he seems to be fascinated with them as well.  When Marmaduke was advertised he couldn’t wait to go to the movies, but we never made it, so he had to settle for waiting for the DVD release.  His wait is now officially over!  Marmaduke was recently released on Blu-Ray and DVD from 20th Century Fox.

Here is the synopsis of Marmaduke:  When Marmaduke moves to a new neighborhood with his family, the super-sized teenage dog soon discovers he just doesn’t fit in-literally!  Marmaduke can’t help being a one-dog wrecking crew, causing fur-flying chaos wherever he roams.  But, with the help of his friend, Carlos the Cat, Marmaduke may just get out of the doghouse, fall in love, and surf off into the sunset.

20th Century Fox was nice enough to send my family a copy of Marmaduke for review.  Wyatt wanted to watch this movie right away, and lucky for us it showed up on a Saturday.  That night he curled up on the sofa and enjoyed watching the big dog do silly things.  He thought Marmaduke was super funny and has asked if we can watch it again soon.

Marmaduke is rated-PG and has a running time of 87 minutes.  It is available for purchase now from amazon.comon Blu-Ray for $39.99 or DVD for $29.98.  Special features on both versions include:  Cowabarka! Surfing Dogs, Canine Casting, and Deleted Scenes.
