Wyatt is definately a reader. He loves books and will read about any topic, but his favorite is science. If it is a book about bugs or nature, he is a happy boy, which is why I was thrilled to find out that National Geographic publishes a Kids Almanac.
The 2010 National Geographic Kids Almanac dares your kids to explore. From modern day adventures to close calls and narrow escapes to amazing animals taking readers into the wild and into the water. Readers discover cultural connections from food, currency, literature and lots more from around the world. It is filled with maps, facts and more, and helps readers learn to go green and help our threatened earth!
National Geographic was nice enough to send us a copy of this almanac for review and it has quickly become Wyatt’s favorite book. It has been his nightly book choice every night since it was received. He loves learning about all the interesting places and people. He was fascinated by King Tut and has decided to add Primatologist to his list of possible occupations. The great part is that this book will probably last us till the end of the year.
The 2010 Kids Almanac is recommended for kids ages 8 to 12 and contains 352 pages. The hardcover retails for $19.95 and softcover for $12.99. You can purchase this book from National Geographic.
