After spending some time this summer with my in-laws, Wyatt came home with a fascination for puzzles. It seems that he spent plenty of time helping Mamaw and Papaw work on their puzzles. He had a new confidence when it came to doing puzzles by himself and no longer shied away from larger puzzles. Finding puzzles for kids is not always an easy task, which is why I was thrilled when I saw the selection available from Patch Products, especially their 3D puzzles.
Here is some information about Patch Products from their site: In 1971, brothers Fran and Bryce Patch started their own commercial printing company in Beloit, Wisconsin. They built their business by printing products for other companies, including Trivial Pursuit game boards and Cabbage Patch doll sticker books. Fran and Bryce took a step forward in 1985 to form Patch Products, Inc., and started printing their own products. They broke into the children’s puzzle market by introducing a line of PuzzlePatch puzzles, while continuing to print paper products for others. These puzzles grew in popularity and availability through national distribution, and built the foundation on which Patch has grown. Today, Patch is a leading manufacturer and marketer of family entertainment products. Games, puzzles, activity kits, collegiate-licensed foam sports toys and classroom teaching tools, such as science toys, are the core product lines.
Patch Products was nice enough to send us their 3D Midnight Safari Puzzle to review. I don’t know which Wyatt was more excited about, the fact that it was a puzzle with a snake or the fact that it came with 3D glasses. He asked right away if he could start putting it together. I think he was patient enough to have 3 pieces together before he had to look at it with the glasses.LOL Here he is checking out his work.
He was able to construct the entire puzzle without help and had a great time finding all the hidden letters and numbers while the animals “jumped out” at him. I thought the finished puzzle was a good size and loved the brightness of the colors.
The 3D Sneaky Puzzles retail for under $15, which put them in the perfect price range for a gift! These puzzles are geared for kids ages 3 and up.
In addition to puzzles, Patch Products also carries kids coloring books, Take ‘N’ Play Games, and much more! Be sure to check them out when shopping for the kids on you Holiday List.
