Review and Giveaway: Scholastic Book Bundle CLOSED

Studies have shown that if you read to your child, they are more likely to enjoy reading.  This has prove to be true with Wyatt.  He goes through books faster than we can check them out at the library.  He loves to pick out his books and learns so much from what he reads.  Recently, Scholastic sent my family a couple of books to review: It’s Christmas David and Captain Sky Blue.

It’s Christmas David by David Shannon is hilarious!  We were already fans of David, but Wyatt just giggled his way through David’s Christmas antics.  This book always reminds Wyatt that no matter what he does, we will still love him!  This book is perfect for kids ages 2 and up.  It’s Christmas David retails for $16.99 and can be purchased for Scholastic.

ChristmasDavid

Captain Sky Blue by Richard Egielski tells the story of a boy and his best toy pal, Captain Sky Blue, a pilot.  When the two friends are separated, Captain Sky Blue must find his way home.  Wyatt liked all the pilot references in this book and enjoyed the adventure that Captain Sky Blue went on.  This book is recommended for kids ages 3 and up.  Captain Sky Blue retails for $17.95 and can be purchased from Scholastic.

Give the gift of reading to your child this holiday season!  Scholastic books make the perfect stocking stuffer for any child on your list.   While you are out shopping for the kids on your list, pass up the toys and buy a book!  Pair them up with some pjs and bubblebath and you have a bedtime gift basket.

Would you like some Christmas stories to read to your little ones?  Scholastic is offering one lucky reader a Winner will receive a HUGE gift pack, which includes: CAPTAIN SKY BLUE,  IT’S CHRISTMAS DAVID, OOK and GLUK, TONY BALONEY, ODIOUS OGRE and I SPY A CHRISTMAS TREE!  This prize pack, which is pictured below,  is valued at $89.75!  For your chance to win, just follow the rules below.
