By now, you may have figured out the I am a LITTLE OCD. LOL I feel like I am constantly cleaning and picking up after the boys, probably because I am, but I am always a little concerned about what the baby does with things after I clean them. I know what he does, he shoves everything in his mouth. This is why I was so excited when I heard about Seventh Generation.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with Seventh Generation, here is a little bit about the company from their site: Seventh Generation brand-name products include: non-chlorine bleached, 100% recycled paper towels, bathroom and facial tissues, and napkins; non-toxic, phosphate-free cleaning, dish and laundry products; plastic trash bags made from recycled plastic; chlorine-free baby diapers, training pants, and baby wipes; and chlorine-free feminine care products, including organic cotton tampons. And, they donate 10% of their profits to non-profit community, environmental, health, and responsible business organizations working for positive change. Talk about a “socially responsible” company!
Seventh Generation was nice enough to send me Living Home Starter Kit to try. It included: Glass Cleaner – Grapefruit, All-Purpose Cleaner – Green Mandarin, Toilet Bowl Cleaner – Emerald, Shower Cleaner – Green Mandarin, Tub & Tile Cleaner, Kitchen Cleaner, (2) Natural Paper Towels – 120 Count, and a Reusable Tote.
For being non-toxic, let me say these cleaners work great! I am already about half way through the kitchen cleaner and I love that I feel safe using it on Blake’s high chair tray. And trust me, if it can clean that tray, it can clean anything!LOL All the cleaners I received, leave the house smelling really good and clean, especially the tub and tile cleaner, which smells like emerald cypress and fir. You will not miss your old chemical ridden cleaners!
I am really happy that I had this opportunity to try these cleaners, and feel great that they lack harsh chemicals. Add this to my list, to one more thing that I am doing to help the environment. Seventh Generation also carries a full baby line!
