I remember when I was pregnant with Wyatt how I would spend countless hours on the computer searching for pictures of what he looked like at each stage.  I did this almost daily and was always fascinated by how he was developing.  A lot has changed in the six years since I was pregnant for him, with the introduction of iPhones and apps, it seems like everything we need is now at our fingertips.  The best example of this is the Sprout Pregnancy Essentials iPhone App.

Brought to you from Med-ART Studios,  this app features:  Comprehensive information about you and your developing baby, Stunning color images and industry leading 3D models of fetal development, Pregnancy tools including a weight tracker, kick counter and contraction timer, and was written by doctors along with pregnant mothers to be.  It also includes week by week advice, pregnancy timeline and checklists,  and helps prepare you for doctor visits.

Med-ART Studios was nice enough to let me review a copy of the Sprout Pregnancy Essentials App on my iPod touch.  I had a blast looking at all the different images and rotating them to see all the angles.  I could probably have done without the weight tracker, since it would only have depressed me, but it is nice to all these tools in one place.  It was like having the What to Expect Book with me at all times, but better since it is in color and 3-D.  This was such a neat feature that I almost wanted to get pregnant again just to be able to use the tool in unison, but don’t tell my husband.LOL
