Review and Giveaway: Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice CLOSED

Like most moms, my life stays hectic! I am always rushing to get dinner on the table, while providing my kids with a healthy meal.  I am always looking for easy prep meals that will still provide great nutritional value.  Thanks to Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice, my evenings have just gotten a little easier!

Now that you see how good for you this new rice is, I know you are wondering, but how does it taste?

Uncle Ben’s was nice enough to send me a few boxes of their Whole Grain White Rice to try. Since it was red beans and rice night, my boys’ favorite, I decided to try this rice in place of our usual.  They didn’t even notice a difference in flavor or consistency, and all cleaned their plates!  I also shared a box with my mom and she also enjoyed the rice, and she is not a fan of brown rice.  She agreed that this rice tastes like our regular white rice, but has the benefits of whole grain goodness.

I really enjoyed the flavor of the rice and the texture was good.  My favorite part of this rice is that it cooks up in only 10 MINUTES!!   Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice is now available at grocery stores and mass retailers across the country.

Would your family like to try Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice?  One lucky reader will win an Uncle Ben’s Apron and TWO boxes of Uncle Ben’s Whole Grain White Rice.  For your chance to win, just follow the rules below.

My family’s favorite is Lemon Rice. It goes well with Chicken or Fish. I make it with either Uncle Ben’s white rice or brown rice. The ingredients are water, rice, chicken bullion cube, (optional clove of garlic, minced). Cook as directed. As soon as the rice is done, while it is HOT, stir in 2 T. chopped fresh parsley and the juice of 1/2 lemon. Yum Yum
