I will be the first to admit it, maybe we watch a little too much Nick Jr. Since the boys love to chill out in front the TV after we get home and they are waiting for dinner. Hubby and I can now sing along with all the theme songs.LOL But, since all the programming on Nick Jr. is appropriate for both boys, it is a great compromise. Nick Jr. will release a new favorites DVD on March 30th titled “Go Green!“.
For those of you who are new to Nick Jr. dvds, their favorites collection includes single episodes from many of their popular shows. The Go Green! DVD is designed to teach kids to appreciate the environment for Earth Day!The Nick Jr. Favorites: Go Green! includes the following: Dora the Explorer– Bugga Bugga, Go, Diego, Go!– Manatee’s Mermaid Rescue!, The Wonder Pets!– Save the Tree/Save the Elephant, Yo Gabba Gabba!– Green, Blue’s Clues– What Does Blue Want to Make out of Recycled Things?, and Ni Hao, Kai-lan– The Place Where We All Live.
Nick Jr. was nice enough to send us a copy of Nick Jr. Favorites: Go Green! to review. Blake and Wyatt both enjoyed their new dvd and it makes a great movie for the car, because they are not watching the same show for a long time. Wyatt’s favorite episode was Go, Diego, Go!– Manatee’s Mermaid Rescue!, because he loves Diego. And, Blake had fun dancing with Yo Gabba Gabba!. I love that the DVD is designed to help kid’s learn that it is important to take care of the earth and shows them simple ways to incorporate what they learned into their daily routines.
Nick Jr. Favorites: Go Green! comes in eco-friendly packaging and has a running time of approximately 144 minutes. It can be pre-ordered now from Amazon.com and retails for $16.99.
