Being the only girl in the house, I have learned about alot of things I never thought I would know about, such as Star Wars, Comic Book Heroes, Mighty Machines, and most recently Zombies. Yes, zombies! I don’t know who is more a fan of them, my husband or my sons, but I seem to be being hit from all angles. Now, I will admit I enjoy watching Walking Dead, but when my three year old joins in on the zombie talk, I get a little overwhelmed. Jakks Pacific has decided to make my family very happy with one of their newest toy releases, S.L.U.G. Zombies!
Here is some information about the S.L.U.G. Zombies: JAKKS Pacific is delivering collectability and fun likenever before with its new lineup of 2” figures called S.L.U.G. ZOMBIES AKA-Scary Little Ugly Guys. Each Zombie features wacky names andstories, such as Neil Armgone, Grave Lincoln and Braineatin‘ Brandon. Kids will love to collect and play with these unique figures!
Jakks Pacific was nice enough to send me a sample of their S.L.U.G. Zombies to review. The first dilemia was who was going to actually get the zombies. My hubby claimed them first, then the boys both wanted them. Wyatt conceded this pack of zombies after reading the back of the box and deciding he wanted to hold out for “King Guts” and “Grave Lincoln”. The only figure nobody called dibs on was the cheerleader. Since the figures are all green, I didn’t think they were to graphic for the kids, although I still think the concept is odd. That being said, I will probably be purchasing more of these for Wyatt, and I think they would make a great Halloween handout.
The S.L.U.G. Zombies can be purchased as single blind packs ($1.99), 3-packs ($3.99) and coffin-shaped 12-packs ($9.99).Series 1 has 16 zombies and Series 2 & 3 are already scheduled to be released. These toys are geared towards kids ages 5 and up. You can purchase the S.L.U.G. Zombie Blind Packs now at Toys R Us and Walgreens. Oh My Goodness- I can so relate! I step on legos, army men and action figures all day long! Now these Zombies are looking awesome! My kids would love to have these! Thanks for the review and peek!!
