SpongeBob SquarePants: Heroes of Bikini Bottom DVD Review and Giveaway CLOSED

As everyone is aware by now, Wyatt is a long time fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, but now Blake has decided he is also a fan! Both boys get really excited when “Spongie” (as they call him) appears on the TV and settle down for a few laughs. With a long car trip in our future, I was thrilled to see that Nickelodeon is set to release SpongeBob SquarePants: Heroes of Bikini Bottom on DVD on June 14, 2011.

Here is a list of the episodes and their synopsis which are included on the SpongeBob SquarePants: Heroes of Bikini Bottom DVD:

Back to the Past– SpongeBob and Patrick travel back in time to see the young Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy.

The Bad Guy Club for Villains– SpongeBob and Patrick watch Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy fight bad guys.

Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful– SpongeBob “helps” Squirdward clean up the city of Bikini Bottom.

A Pal for Gary– SpongeBob brings Gary a pet that terrorizes him.

Yours, Mine and Mine– SpongeBob and Patrick buy a toy and have to learn how to share.

Kracked Krabs– SpongeBob goes with Mr. Krabs to the Cheapest Crab Convention.

A Day Without Tears– Squidward bets SpongeBob that he cannot go a day without crying.

Summer Job– Mrs. Puff has to work at the Krusty Krab during her summer break.

Nickelodeon was nice enough to send my family a copy of the Heroes of Bikini Bottom DVD to review. The boys were of course more that willing to help out with this task. Their favorite episode was “A Pal for Gary”, but that may be because Wyatt has been begging for a pet. I always get a kick out of the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy episodes and these were good ones!

SpongeBob SquarePants: Heroes of Bikini Bottom has a running time of 88 minutes and includes the special features: Animated Shorts- Time Machine, Lessons Learned, and Krabs Saves the Day and Bonus Episode of T.U.F.F. Puppy. This DVD is available for pre-order now from amazon.com.
