Now that fall is officially in the air, we have started prepping for Halloween.     Mine was when I was 8 or 9. I was a witch and I had the whole cackling down. I wouldn’t take my costume off. Wore it for 3 or 4 days after Halloween. Drove my mom nuts.

    My favorite costume as a kid was princess, any princess. I just remember being a princess of one kind or another most of the time.

    I was a hobo after much begging and pleading (my mom was a princess type costume advocate) and I remember just loving it. How funny to me now, since I’m a princess advocate type mother now, lol.

    My mom would hand make each costume every year, one of my favorites were when all 6 of my siblings and I were large human pumpkins!

    My Mom always made our costumes and I had at least 3 different Pocahontas costumes cause I loved to be her. I had long brown hair perfect for Indian princess braids!
